Suraya is a professional Belly Dance Performer and Teacher in Glasgow and has been dancing for many years in Restaurants ,Venues and Festivals.

 

She is the In House Dancer at Nur Egyptian Restaurant, 22 Bridge Street, Glasgow.

 

Dance has always been a big part of Suraya's life. From a young age she has done Ballet, Tap, Irish dance, Latin American and Ballroom. Belly Dance is her love.

 

She has learned from many teachers from Cairo, including Randa, Yasmina, Aziza, Mohammed Kazafy, Aida Noor, Lubna Emam to name but a few.

 

Suraya has also performed  in a show along side the Bellydance Superstars.

 

She holds annual shows for charity where she showcases her students and local talent in the way of song, dance and magic.

 

She is also a talanted costume designer and is often seen performing wearing her own creations.

Suraya holds Belly Dance classes in Glasgow and will travel to teach workshops or perform.
